Vintage Afternoon Tea Party
Your table set with a mix of quintessential fine bone china, white table linen and napkins, waited on without fuss or hurry by a friendly member of staff, served in the garden or the rectory dinning hall.
Your cake stand will arrive at your table with a selection of freshly cut sandwiches, warm strawberry shortcake scones with homemade preserve and clotted cream, selection of mini cakes & pastries and of course that traditional pot of loose leaf tea or if you prefer freshly ground coffee.
Reservations (min of 10 people) 2.30 pm sitting @ £16.50 per person
Vintage Afternoon Tea Menu:
Finger sandwiches using a selection of freshly sliced breads.
Free range egg mayo & watercress, Goats cheese with red onion jam & rocket, Herefordshire roast beef with horseradish cream, Chicken, coriander & lime in a light mayo.
Sweet scones – Aunty Enid’s strawberry shortcake scones served warm with homemade preserve & clotted cream.
Cakes & pastries – you will have a selection of the following depending on the size of your group:
- Meringue kisses with lemon curd
- Strawberry mascarpone shortbread
- Chocolate Brownie
- Vanilla cheesecake
- Pecan & walnut pie
- Loose leaf tea menu

Vintage Afternoon Tea for the Queen's Guide Celebration 11th May 2013 - Dear Chris, thank you for making this celebration so special, your warm welcome and attention from staff was excellent. The friendly atmosphere created was a great way for family, friends and Guiding personnel to celebrate. The Vintage Afternoon Tea was superb and many comments were heard remarking on your delicious scones and cakes.
